Sub-Functional Area ID Team Lead – Firmware (Location: Gurgaon)
This is a key role as a team leader (firmware) in power electronics R&D.
Person should have technical hands-on experience as a Firmware Team lead and should be
responsible for designing and guiding team engineers in digital circuits, including MCU/DSP
and peripherals.

Person should have in depth knowledge of assembly/C/C++ for code development and should
have good guiding capability to handle/assist team.
Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities).
 Software architecture design.
 Software specification, guidelines and other technical documentation.
 Development in C language, Assembly Language Programming for DSP Applications.
 Development on Microcontrollers & DSP based Embedded Systems including Hardware
development of control section of power converter.

Key Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
 Relevant and Hands on experience in Embedded Software Development Projects based
on DSP microcontrollers for power converter topologies.
 Understanding of Control System and Control loop implementation in Assembly, CLA / C
language.
 Good knowledge of Synchronous / Asynchronous Communications, SPI, I2C, CAN etc.
 Should have worked on various development tools such as CCS/KEIL/CodeWarrior IDE,
Compilers, Emulator /Simulator etc.
 Understanding of various SMPS power conversion topologies and good testing knowledge
of conversion topologies to troubleshoot problem.
 Knowledge of MATLAB modelling of Control System and Software implementation.
 Hands on experience in Hardware testing & debugging with the help of Logic Analyzers,
CRO & Signal Generators etc.
 Experience in creating SW Specifications, guidelines and other technical documentation
 Experience in understanding the user requirements and able to find gaps in the design and
develop the Features/Solution.
 Conceptualization, block and schematic design for various control cards which include
mixed signal, Housekeeping power supply & processor / controller based designs.

Experience
 Minimum 6-10 years of experience in the field of power electronics (converter topology
design)
 Hardware Design Experience of control section of power converter.
 Rich Software Development experience in assembly/C/C++ in MCU/DSP environment.
 Experience of handling software team.
Qualification
Necessary:
 B. Tech / B.E. – Specialization, Electrical, Electronics with Good academic record.
 6-10 Years of experience in the field of power converter design.
 Previous work experience in Electrical, Electronics/Telecom-Power/Solar industry in the field of
Product Design.
