Solution Designer

Adastra is currently seeking a strong Solutions/Application Designer with a technical background focused on application solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Deep dive and design solutions within application with focus on client data
• Work with developers to implement solutions
• Provide application solutions or make technology selection decisions that are often made in situations where business requirements are not completely defined or changing
• Design and/or integrate solutions for the processing of data and development of precise steps to achieve business needs
• Deliver overall solutions to complex application problems

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on application design experience
• Experience with the following main technologies: Oracle, Java, Linux, PowerDesigner for rest API, Hibernate, myBatis framework and ETL
• Strong experience troubleshooting production issues especially applications dealing with heavy database (Oracle) processing
• Wealth experience is a nice to have
