Technical /Professional Experience:
Should have led cross-functional teams on at least 3 global multi-entity programs (i.e. global template development and rollouts) in SAP Manufacturing and Supply Chain areas – PP, APO & IBP
Should have been a Solution architect / Subject matter expert especially in the area of SAP-PP, SAP-APO and IBP
Should have experience in working with interfaces to SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g. MES, MII)
Should have overview knowledge of all Logistics topics (including Procurement, Sales, EWM, etc.)
Should have worked on internal initiatives relating to Operational Productivity & Efficiency, Cost cutting, KPI definitions, etc. in the Domain experience
APICS or other such certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Should have minimum three years of Domain experience in the capacity of a Planning Lead for a company with multiple manufacturing locations, sales offices and warehouses
Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert (SME) role is a multi-dimensional one including but not restricted to:
Mentoring, guiding, supporting and directing associates
Architecting and solution design
Concept & Blueprint Creation
Quality reviews from a content perspective for all Logistics modules
Training and Knowledge sharing
Study and concept projects
Troubleshooting
Spot consulting
Technical sales (i.e. using technical expertise in presales)
The SME is expected to take lead/mentor role in S/4HANA projects from a Logistics perspective (not restricted to Manufacturing topics). This includes creating Concept & Blueprint creation, Solution architecture, guiding Logistics team and owning solution from Logistics perspective.
The SME will act as a mentor for SAP Manufacturing and Supply Chain and will be expected to provide expert-level consulting (e.g. solution design) relating to the entire array of Manufacturing modules and components (i.e. PP, APO, IBP, MES, MII) as well as to provide process/business consulting on the domain areas related to these modules and components. Will be expected to provide expert-level consulting (e.g. solution design) relating to integration with SD, MM, FI and CO.
The SME is expected to multitask, work on multiple projects running parallel to each other and to fulfill a mix of technical and managerial responsibilities. In short, ability to cope, flexibility and adaptability are key to this role.
